You are invited to attend and participate in-person or online in the Conference of the International Federation of Classification Societies, which will take place on July 15-19, 2024, at the University of Costa Rica, San José, Costa Rica.
In addition to on-site attendance, IFCS is offering the option of virtual participation for those who prefer to join remotely. The fee for virtual attendance is US$200.

IFCS 2024 is a joint organization of the Central American and Caribbean Society for Classification and Data Analysis, SoCCCAD, and the University of Costa Rica, UCR.

Vabimo vas na 32. tradicionalni Statistični dan z naslovom »Modri podatki za zeleni energetski prehod«. Dogodek bo 27. septembra 2023 v Kongresnem centru na Brdu pri Kranju.
Povečanje porabe obnovljivih virov energije, zmanjšanje porabe fosilnih goriv in spodbujanje trajnostnih oblik mobilnosti so ključni dejavniki za uspešen zeleni energetski prehod. Kje na tej poti smo? Kaj lahko kot posamezniki še storimo in kaj nas v prihodnje še čaka?
Odgovore na ta in podobna vprašanja bomo iskali v razpravi s povabljenimi strokovnjaki in udeleženci dogodka, na katerem bomo razmere na nacionalnih in globalnih energetskih trgih osvetlili tudi s podatki.

The International Applied Statistics conference is organised by Statistical Society of Slovenia and Faculties of University of Ljubljana (main supporters are Faculty of Social sciences and Faculty of Medicine).
The registration to the Applied Statistics conference is free of charge but registration to the event is required. The deadline for abstract submission is July 25. YSE among other tasks also coordinates YoungStatS – the international blog and webinar project in statistics, supported by the Bernoulli Society of Mathematical Statistics and Probability and the Institute of Mathematical Statistics (IMS).
