17th Applied Statistics 2021

General information

The 17th Applied Statistics Conference was organised as a virtual conference. The conference was structured as a three day event from 20 to 22 September 2021.

The programme of the first two days included three invited speakers, invited sessions and also contributed oral and poster sessions. Wednesday 22 September was devoted to the Workshop.

The conference also incorporated the Third Meeting of the Young Statisticians Europe (YSE) initiative, which took place in the framework of The Federation of European National Statistical Societies (FENStatS). YSE among other tasks also coordinates YoungStatS – the international blog and webinar project in statistics, supported by the Bernoulli Society of Mathematical Statistics and Probability and the Institute of Mathematical Statistics (IMS).

We were glad to bring together leading experts in statistics, data analysts and other professionals from various statistical and related fields to present their research, discuss presentations online and learn from each other.
